Synonymous with hard work and durable attire to match, Dickies continues the same tradition the company was built upon in 1922 with their upcoming Spring 2012 Collection. Many of the company’s tried and tested pieces, like the signature coveralls, work shirts and the 874 work pants remain the standard in workwear attire.
The standout garments from the upcoming season come from the 1922 Collection which is entirely produced in one of the oldest Dickies manufacturing facilities in Texas. The collection itself celebrates the company’s roots in American Workwear with each limited edition piece being produced to the exact specifications, cut, and details as they were produced in 1922. Most of the garments in the collection feature Cramerton® military grade twill, which was the same fabric used by the U.S. Army in 1931. All of the pieces we previewed from the 1922 collection were well made, quality garments that are steeped in nostalgia, that will surely get better over time.
Thanks again to the good folks at Dickies for having us on hand.
