Leave it to the seedy underbelly of crime to stick their fingers into the world of menswear. In the newest segment of oki-ni’s STYLED series, renowned stylist, tailoring specialist, and style journalist Tom Stubbs takes the helm, modeling his looks after Peter Doyle’s book “Crooks Like Us”, which chronicled the most questionable figures in Sydney’s crime world during the 1920′s.
The images definitely show evidence of Stubbs’ superior tailoring capabilities, blending vintage and modern looks into some extremely powerful looks. The images are characteristically dark considering the subject matter, featuring a strong black and grey presence in the pieces. Stubbs’ styling is utterly timeless, creating a collection of images that will have a hard time leaving your mind.
Head over to oki-ni to see all of the photos and shop the pieces in the collection.
