Don’t let the name fool you: the new installation from controversy stirring Chinese artist Ai Wei Wei really looks like an infinite amount of bicycles. Currently on display at Taiwanese art exhibit ‘Absent’, the piece is an absolutely stunning visual masterpiece, reflecting Ai Wei Wei’s ideals surrounding the even quickening pace of social change in China. The title of the exhibit is sadly fitting, as Wei Wei was imprisoned by the Chinese government for 81 days earlier this year on unknown charges. Currently free, let’s hope he remains untethered, allowing his impressive creativity to flow without hindrance.
