Unlike KISS concerts or the Super Bowl, menswear doesn’t require much extravagance and/or pyrotechnics to be successful, as quality and a finer attention to detail make all the difference. And as a paragon of excellence through simplicity, it shouldn’t be any surprise that Italian brand Aspesi has hit above the mark once again for their A/W 2011 collection. Ranging in fabrics from your standard cottons to wool and tweed, the entire line seems bound by a single characteristic: the cut is perfect across the line, making for a fit that is slim and stylish without being too constricting and unflattering. The color palate relies heavily on some muted cool colors, making nothing too outlandish and easily paired with existing pieces. Topped off with some classic and elegant looking outerwear, the Aspesi F/W 2011 line might be a little reserved, but too solid not to check out.
