British chefs James Lowe, Isaac McHale, and Ben Greeno have joined forces to form a barnstorming trio called the Young Turks. They began stopping at various restaurants throughout England in late 2010. Their goal is, to quote from their website, to promote a “new approach to British cooking, one that focuses on small producers and building relationships with them, one that brings vegetables to the fore, one that emphasises collaboration and helpfulness over secrecy.”
From November 1 through January 29, the Young Turks will be taking up their kitchen residencies at Ten Bells restaurant in London. So if you happen to be taking a quick trip to London this winter, stop in at the Ten Bells and see a real trio in action.
You can check out the Young Turks website and see everywhere they’ve been.
