Fresh off of a flattering photo feature in the most recent issue of GQ, everyone’s favorite two man band The Black Keys are back with the new song “Lonely Boy” off of their upcoming release “El Camino,” the follow up to last year’s commercial and critical success “Brothers.” (Just turn on the TV for a minute and you’re bound to hear one of their songs in a commercial.) The Keys’ pick up right where the left off last year, locking into a head-bobbing groove from drummer Patrick Carney, accentuated by the ever-chugging guitar of guitarist/vocalist/impressive-beard-grower Dan Auerbach. With evidence from this first track, “El Camino” promises to be another memorable effort from the duo.
The album “El Camino” drops Dec. 6 on Nonesuch Records.
