Workwear isn’t typically the domain of high fashion, as it strays away from aesthetics to focus on the practical nature of the clothes. But Hypebeast’s Edward Chiu threw both into a blender for a wonderful result for this editorial in collaboration with Number Six & Co. Seeking to present workwear without that “ideal gentleman look”, Chiu and photographer Sylvain Homo put together some excellent photographs in a variety of steel-mill looking areas that are equally drenched in sun and grime. Chiu’s styling provided model Jack Wright with some impressive looks, anchored by the Mark McNairy New Amsterdam Brown Grain Derby Boot, and other item’s from menswear staples Ralph Lauren, Ben Sherman, and Oliver Spencer.
