The Harley Davidson brand has been an American icon since they started crafting bikes back in 1903. Their innovations have progressed the motorcycle industry, arguably, more than any other manufacturer in the world. When one thinks of motorcycles, he or she think of a Harley, or the movie Easy Rider, which features two Harley Hydra-Glides. Just as that 1960s movie captures the free-living lifestyle of the bike scene, Harley’s new Night Rod Special captures the Harley lifestyle. Yes, Harley is lifestyle, ask anyone who rides one.
The Night Rod is a mean looking machine, with sleek lines wrapped around one huge engine. Not only does this bike have undeniable style, it has technology that makes owning and riding easier than ever. Harley acquired the help of automotive legend Porsche to produce the V-Twin Revolution. This fuel injected engine is equipped with dual overhead cams and a liquid cooling system capable of pushing out 125 horse power. Harley has also added re-engineered forks for 2012 to maximize control while cruising down the pavement. In between the new inverted forks are Brembo dual-disk breaks, a Michelin Scorcher tire, and a hidden speed sensor to maintain a clean look. Harley even offers a optional high tech security system to help build confidence in an owner while leaving the bike in the parking lot.
The Night Rod Special is a motorcycle that breaks stereotypical thoughts of black leather chaps and wild west gangs. This bike is class, full of power and personality that will empress riders and non-riders alike.

You’re a funny guy. Can you give an example on an innovation coming from HD? Anything, but painting the engine black? HD Coffee, HD Peanuts, HD Shaving Foam, etc doesn’t count.
