Honduran designer Carlos Campos‘ Spring/Summer ’12 collection just feels breezy, for lack of a better word. Lightweight fabrics and saturated colors exude the warmth you expect from an evening somewhere a little closer to the equator, while still keeping things a step above being entirely casual. Influenced by the Aztec, Mayan and Incan cultures, Campos brings a unique approach to New York Fashion Week, providing a little heat in the usual grey of the city. Throw in a few wide brimmed hats, and you have a look that feels distinctly South American and perfect for the months where the weather provides just a little bit more grace.
