If you’re an aspiring architect, take notes, because this is how you make a modern home. Located in Salt Lake City, the “H-House” is a brilliant piece of architecture. Sitting on a hill with a picturesque view of the the city, the house features three floors of beauty. The bottom level is simply the garage and a vestibule area. The main level is where most of the living occurs. It features a living room, family room, kitchen, deck, master bedroom and an office. The upper level has more living space with another bedroom and a study.
The house itself is very open allowing a lot of natural light to come in. The deck offers an absolutely breathtaking view of the city below. Of course, with it being Salt Lake City, you would only want to really venture out there in the summer months. The “H-House” was designed by Axis Architects. The firm is based in Salt Lake City and is run by Pierre Langue and Alan Turner. Their client list includes many different universities throughout Utah. As exemplified by the “H-House,” the firm “strives to create structures that are intimately connected to function and context.”
