With Fall now upon us, that only means Winter is that much closer. For those of us unfortunate enough to have to endure cold temperatures, frozen roads and snow-covered sidewalks, the prospect of Spring is all we have to look forward to. Luckily, we can enjoy Spring. That is, HELM shoes’ new Spring 2012 collection. They’ve created a behind-the-scenes video, giving us a sneak peek for what’s to come next season.
The designs were apparently inspired by the movies “Bullitt” and “Swing Kids” after founder Joshua Bingaman made his employees watch the films. Bingaman believes that men’s fashion is moving a bit too dapper and into Americana. Looking at the two movies showed what he thinks it is a good combination of a casual, yet more dressed-up look. Obviously, not all has been revealed for the upcoming collection. You can bet the designs will continue HELM’s standard of creating boots that appeal to both those looking for a great design and a great level of comfort.
