On Chris Taylor’s debut solo album “Dreams Come True”, the multi-instrumentalist emerges as a breakout star of the indie scene. After serving as part of Grizzly Bear for the past decade, Taylor’s debut serves as an extension of his work with the fabled indie band. Lead single “Believe” is indie pop at its finest, and the rest of the album’s songs have similar themes. Taylor has never been a simple artist, and his solo debut is no exception. With standout songs like “The Edge” and “Rise Silent” this is an interesting and noteworthy career move for Taylor.
