There aren’t too many words that can be used to describe the new Ford Evos Concept. This car is so future oriented that those words most likely haven’t even been invented yet. Designed in Ford’s design studio in Cologne, Germany, the concept looks more like a replacement for the recently retired space-shuttle than a car, complete with 4 gull-wing doors and a streamlined physique powered by a hybrid power-train through electricity. And those features might not even be the most impressive ones that the Evos has to offer: cloud computing technology is integrated with almost every part of the car, from playing you upbeat music during a fast drive to driving itself in heavy traffic. Yes, it’s a car that can drive you to work, not the other way around.
Why a lot of these gadgets seem entirely far-fetched makes sense: the Evos is only a concept car that isn’t meant for production. But Ford maintains that it plans to integrate many of the features on this car in it’s future models.
The Ford Evos Concept is scheduled to debut at the Frankfurt Auto Show later this year.
