Long Beach based Lossa Engineering was able to create something incredibly fresh out of this 30 year old bike, coming up with a machine that effectively blends old and new into a stylish package. The basic chassis seems to be the only thing left, as almost every part of the bike was re-tooled, including relocating the battery, adding a new gas tank, and a custom intake manifold. But perhaps the most striking feature is the bike’s look: pairing a bare bones engine display with a clean white paint job, adding just a subtle touch of flair with a red racing stripe and front fender. This refurbishing only reminds us that innovation isn’t always looking towards the future; as sometimes it borrows from the past.
