Rounded Loft, the latest by Prague based A1 Architects, doesn’t look anything remotely like the attic space it formally was. By approaching the project with the idea of “boundless space” in mind, A1 created an apartment that seems to flow freely from one room to the next, fostering a “specific fluency of space” with the smoothly rounded edges. One of the most impressive features is the elegant rounded staircase complete with cubed wall shelving, featuring a fireplace built in underneath. Then entire space seems to be interconnected through openness, giving the apartment an entirely unique feel.
