Amid the rural landscapes of Texas comes James D. LaRue Architect’s latest project, the Westlake Drive House. The 4,722 foot home mixes Texas’s southern lifestyle with the innovative designs of LaRue’s firm. For those that appreciate the great outdoors, the home also has a sunken garden as well as a stone covered retaining wall. The building features three separate buildings and is connected by several bridges within the home. The house itself is integrated into a nearby hill side, making it one of the most unique houses in the longhorn state today.
House amenities include outdoor living spaces, a pool and outdoor kitchen, fireplace and personalized seating areas. The house is located in Austin, Texas.
