We here at Swipelife are fans of the show American Pickers. Following the adventures of Mike Wolfe and Frank Fritz is really quite entertaining as they drive around different States going through people’s garages, basements, barns, warehouses, and more in search of salvageable historic items. While its always fun to see the occasional retro toy or an old gas station sign, the best part of the show is when they actually uncover old auto and motor parts such as Harley skeletons or old Volkswagen vans.
New York Times profiles the home of Mike Wolfe and showcases a lot of the “picks” he has kept for himself. Mr. Wolfe actually lives on the top two flowers of a grocery and boarding house, which is quite cool. In his home, he has a Harley on display as well as other historic posters and more Harley memorabilia. Visit New York Times for the complete photo essay.
