To showcase the strong Fall/Winter ’11 line from Steven Alan, the designer teamed up with filmmaker Gary Marino to provide a moving pictures edition of the look book. Filmed in Cold Spring, New York, the short features models exploring the surrounding woods dressed in some impressive items from Alan’s new collection. While the beautifully grey landscape is expertly visualized by Marino, the somber look is coupled with a rather upbeat tune that might just be too cute for it’s own good, but that doesn’t hinder the clip from showing off some excellent pieces of clothing.
