Contrast is the primary focus of Prada’s Fall/Winter 2011 Collection. It’s present on different aspects of the clothing like material, form and color. Various techniques such as incorporating broad-shouldered tops while paring it with fit trousers, is a design approach not usually seen today. Materials used in making these clothes are also contrasted on this collection. Japanese light fabrics are used for texture with suede and jersey. Lastly, colors are used to contrast the lightness of pastels and gray-toned clothing. Knowing all these elements will give people an idea about Prada’s clothing collection, which was recently launched in Hong Kong.
