Folk Engineered experts Marie and Ryan did a project of restoring two bikes. Brothers Drew and Fred bought their Raleigh International and Motebecane Le Champion in the 70s and wanted to experience these bikes again as they did when they first got them as younger gentlemen. Ryan and Marie of Folk did a complete overhaul on the bikes by replacing parts like chains and cables, cleaning, and polishing to bring them back to their former glory. Simultaneously, they also restored original parts that it had before while tweaking their function. Folk Engineered are in the business of making bikes but they’re also master restorers. The great part about the story is that Dave and Fred get to enjoy these bikes again, bringing back those nostalgic moments of riding.
