Umbro taps the design talents of Aitor Throup for a new collection called the Archive Research Project (A.R.P.). Aitor Throup is one of the design communities best conceptual designers and has done a wide range of fashion projects ranging from the bizarre and highly technical pieces. For Umbro, Aitor creates a lifestyle collection that pays homage to Umbro’s English football tailoring heritage. He draws inspiration from the body in motion and the composition of the body in terms of movement.
The collection will hit stores such this fall. Pieces included in the collection are the 1966 Jacket, Aztex Jersey, Diamond Tape Track Jacket, 1970 World Cup Jersey, Drill Top, Drill Pant and Umbro Short.
