Collaborations are nothing new in the world of fashion, but the recent Fall/Winter 11/12 project between Gant Rugger and our friends over at Close Up and Private, is quite noteworthy. The partnership is a great fit. The iconic sportswear brand founded by Bernard Gant, is well known for their quality garments inspired by American Ivy and European classics. While the innovative CUAP project founded by artist Sergei Sviatchenko, showcases this very same styling inspiration through their paintings and photography. Sviatchenko captures some of brands featured pieces; cropped blazers, fair isle sweaters, rugged chinos, washed denim, ribbed cardigans, winter weight madras shirts, signature popover button-downs and a selection of outer-wear through his unique stylistic vision.
