What’s on Your Wrist this Summer?

Sailing this weekend? Sporting a nautical accessory may be a staple spotting in the mainstream this summer. From Ella Vickers Recycled Sailcloth bags to Sperry’s boatshoes to one of this summer’s eyecatching accessories – a MIANSAI bracelet.

A native New Yorker, Michael Andrew Saiger is creating such a buzz these days. Offering an eclectic and elegant line of vintage-inspired jewelry, which he proudly calls MIANSAI. His product tag goes Made in the USA and Inspired by American classics with Nautical undertones. Skillfully crafted using Age-old techniques. I am Michael Saiger, founder and designer. Quite an achievement for the twenty-three year old model.

The MIANSAI philosophy is the more worn, the better. “every piece has its own rich history,” says Michael. “All my designs, especially the more controversial ones are meant to get people talking. It’s almost like the pieces themselves have a secret or a story to tell. Keeping that in mind, I try to find each relic in its natural habitat. That way it maintains a raw integrity, a quality I hold high when i create my designs” – Michael Saiger.

From hooks, to leather bands to ropes they are truly a conversation starter. Log on to www.miansai.com for the complete line!
