The UCONN Huskies defeated Butler Monday night 53-41 to take home the third national title since 1999.
Coach Jim Calhoun is now one of only four other coaches to have three national championship titles. At 68 years old, he’s also the oldest coach in NCAA history to win a national title. As a tribute to the incredible March Madness we just experienced, I’ve posted this “One Shining Moment” video below for your viewing pleasure. It doesn’t matter how many times I watch this, it still gets me every single time. But with this moment, comes the end of the college basketball season…which I am truly hating!
