DB: Kansas. Top to bottom, I think they are the best team, with the best depth. Their frontcourt is almost unstoppable and they have a number of guards that can play a number of roles. Bill Self and his Jayhawks will be the last team standing in Houston and will be cutting down the nets to “One Shining Moment.”
PS: I am also going to take the Kansas Jayhawks. The Morris twins are beasts inside, and Morningstar, Reed, Taylor, and company compliment them perfectly on the outside. They are vulnerable to going cold from the perimeter, but that’s when they go back inside and lean on the bigs. I think the Thomas Robinson story is something that will permeate the underscore of their run as Bill Self joins rarefied air by winning his second chip in 4 seasons.
