Located at Østhusvik on the island Rennesøy, Norway, the Dalene Cabin stands as a marvel in modern cabin designs. This project was headed by Tommie Wilhelmsen, and was completed in 2009. With the view of the sea which surrounds the island, the Dalene Cabin was built with open space in mind as to bring in the breeze coming from the shore. It features a mix of angular and rounded structures that complements its black exterior and wood pannel facade. Huge windows give way to the outside, connecting each room with the island’s views. In addition, there is also a patio/deck space outside where visitors can congregate.
