We’re a little late showing a Summer 2010 lookbook from Japanese brand Mighty-Mac, but we can’t help but share these amazing illustrations that Robin from Redingote had discovered. Hiroshi Watatani is well known for his drawings in Japan. Redingote points out that although he doesn’t really specialize in menswear, Wattani readily admits being interested in fashion and his illustrations were often themes from America’s post war or the classic men’s clothing.
For Mighty-Mac, this past summer’s lookbook specializes in nautical-inspired clothing with a precision in the Japanese way. The clothes incorporate the colors of flags for communicating at sea, each serving a form letter or a digit. These designs are found even on the jackets or on all the pockets of their pants and shorts. Take a look below.
