The Carlos Campos collection Fall / Winter 2011 is indicative of European style, but there are other style elements interwoven in many of the looks. In regards to European style, the overall silhouettes are slimly-tailored and well proportioned. There’s also narrow footwear paired with all of these looks. But then, you see a “dandy” style as exemplified by the model wearing suspenders and a newsboy cap, and the other model wearing a plaid suit and bow tie. I also thought that many of the color combinations were modern and edgier that is more in-tune with designers who embrace the “minimal” aesthetic. Campos’ collection is well-balanced in that it cohesively ties these influences to still represent an overall European feel.
