Handcrafted in Los Angeles, the Nisshinbo Slim Straight Jeans are made from shuttle-loomed, 16 oz. redline selvedge denim from the famed Nisshinbo Mills in Japan. Built to last (and last, and last), the jean’s details include US-made Universal brand rivets, US-made Scovill brand buttons, US-made 100% cotton bandanna front pocket liners, hand set, sewn and riveted back pockets, signature U-stitch coin pocket with hidden selvedge, double chainstitched waistband, Union Special chainstitched hem, cotton wrapped polyester thread throughout (washes like cotton, but has the strength of poly), and a tonal top-stitch on the crotch for a more understated look. As the name suggests, the jeans fit slim (but not skinny), with a narrow, subtlety tapered leg opening.
