We want to spotlight leather artisan Barrett Alley, who is based out in Dallas, Texas. He crafts built-to-last leather wallets and accessories and he has just launched this summer with a full line of fine leather goods. According to Barrett: Everything is sewn by hand and made with all natural materials – the leather is vegetable-tanned and comes from American tanneries and individual tanners, the thread is linen, and I use other recycled materials like antique Japanese and American fabrics and vintage metal buttons.
