I feel honored to be one of the first people exposed to Mayer Hawthorne via my colleagues at The Smoking Section. Seeing the maturation of this singer’s career, Hawthorne continuously creates lovable hits. This time around the legendary DJ Jazzy Jeff adds his name to the list of impressive collaborations on the remix to “No Strings.” Dubbing it the Roller Boogie Remix, you do get ’70s Funk vibe from the track.
