The Siwa Hat collection by Naoto Fukasawa are made from traditional Japanese washi-paper. The three hats that make up the collection are called ‘Ivy,’ ‘hat,’ and ‘tyrolean hat.’ These hats are constructed from naoron, which is a new type of paper from Onao. The washi-paper manufacturer exclaims that the material can handle moisture and weight, and is also very light and will not easily damage.
