We just received a nice tip about John & Mary Handcrafted Bags. This small independent label is based out in Los Angeles and works closely with a small family-owned local factory where their products are handcrafted. Their bag aesthetics stay close to the classics while keeping in mind traditional quality and a fashion forward approach to their collection. Very stylish bag but very poor workmanship. At this price point I could understand the lower quality of the leather/canvas. But the bag was sewn unevenly at the bottom. They just put a liner board to cover it up.
