In conjunction with Baxter of California’s new Los Angeles Barber Shop opening, the brand is also releasing a 45th anniversary straight razor to celebrate these monumental events. The shop is named after the brand’s found, Mr. Baxter Finley which is located on La Cienega Blvd. As for the 45th Anniversary celebratory item, Baxter of California commissioned American Blade makers, Hart steel to produce a limited edition run of cut throat razors. It features a 14k gold inlay “45” on the spine of the blackened steel blade, signifying the 45 years of history, and a custom Makr Carry Goods (Horween Chromexcel Horse Work Butts) sleeve for the blade. The blade retails for $345 and will be available at the La Cienega location and online at www.baxterofcalifornia.com on June 16th.
