The makers of Universal Works have waved goodbye to the “fashion industry” to humbly create simple, well-made clothing men can easily make their own. Their Autumn Winter 2009-10 collection revives discarded deadstock fabrics into casually cut chinos, waistcoats, and unlined blazers while knit cardigans and fairisle pullovers speak of the cozy ease of beloved hand-me-downs.
