Inspired by the life and times of international playboy and surfing legend Bunker Spreckels, who as stepson
of Clark Gable inherited a massive fortune and spent the rest of his life traveling and partying until his untimely death at age 27 is the Spring and Summer Collection of upstart Santa Monica, California brand Riviera Club.
The clothes are classic west coast beach culture casual and prove that the world doesn’t need Hollister, American Eagle and their clones to capture the free spirit of California youth in the golden age of the 60s and 70s. Standout items like easy-fit chinos, henley tops, faded t-shirts and baja style ponchos assure that Riviera Club has a bright future ahead, having already been picked up by retailers like Barneys Japan and Fred Segal Los Angeles.
