Jack Spade Holiday 2009 Lookbook
Perhaps more so than any recent collection reviewed on SwipeLife, one could easily create an entire wardrobe out of Jack Spade’s Holiday 2009 collection–right down to the wool mittens. In traditional Jack Spade fashion, the pieces here are spot-on interpretations of American classics, particularly with the perfectly chosen lining in a toggle coat, the correct size and coloration of a plaid button down, and the subtle change of weave in a shawl-collar sweater that would make Jim Thorpe proud. Of course, being Jack Spade, the collection also has its I-never-knew-I-needed-this-but-now-I-couldn’t-possibly-live-without-it moments–especially the heather gray backpack (with tan leather reinforcing), the sporty college stripe gloves and a USA wool hood that makes you wish to be a kid again.
