Belgian designer Dries Van Noten makes more from less to great results for Fall and Winter 2009. Minimal looks built on grays and blues evoke traditionalism but still come off as handsome and very current. If one can get past the model glaring at us with furrowed eyebrows they’d see some classic button ups and slacks and a very comfortable looking pea coat. Doing a few things very well is always better than doing a lot haphazardly. Van Noten’s garments are focused with helping us dress better the mission at hand.
