Original Penguin – 2009 Holiday Collection
Original Penguin’s first collection under new creative director Ann Doty Payne, the 2009 holiday collection takes inspiration from story of a man who goes on a cross country road trip to Vegas, where the women are all drop dead gorgeous and the “stakes are high”. Payne is the woman responsible for designing everything from accessories to clothing to advertising campaigns and store designs. She lends her unique aesthetic to Original Penguin by introducing new patterns and reinvigorating heritage prints with new colorways and silhouettes, as seen in the upcoming collection.
