Ralph Lauren published the looks for their three subsidiary brands Black Label, Purple Label, and Polo by Ralph Lauren for the Spring/Summer of 2010 earlier this week continuing to develop the classic look that has won them devotees the world over and made them a household name. Across all three sub-brands the looks project confidence and a sense of bonne vivant balanced with fun and practicality. Black Label’s tailored wear hones in on understated, worldly flavor and flow while Black Label’s sportswear hints at futurism, moving forward with hi tech materials and shine but with an underlying sensibility that doesn’t outlive it’s usefulness. Purple Label maintains the lavish side of things, with first class tailoring and blues and blacks to be thrown in the mix with multi-colored sweaters and geometric patterns. The Polo sportswear continues the low key, vintage feel that has earned it fans for generations. The tailored clothing is all about light fabrics, plaids and pastels. Something for everyone, from the Hemingway’s and Gatsby’s to the Kanye West’s.

Out of all the ‘prep style’ labels, Ralph is always on the ahead by miles. He has amazing classic pieces that can never really go out of style no matter the season or time. I could easily wear everything in all his lines as long as it fit me ofcourse.
