From the Danish menswear brand Jean//Phillip comes a unique collection for next year’s spring season that attempts to balance comfort with the unorthodox. The Copenhagen-based label, founded in 2007 by designer Jean-phillip, has emerged over the past couple of years as a name to be heard in the fashion circuit, with their signature minimalistic, edgy designs earning rave reviews from style experts. Their spring/summer collection for 2010 doesn’t draw any inspiration from any particular silhouettes, instead they focus their attention to a variety of loose and fitted garments, emphasising a relaxed attitude through their clothing. Utilising a monochrome colour palette (another trademark of Jean-phillip), various outerwear garments and shirts feature a plunging neckline and are made of fabrics such as leather and other sheer materials.
