Preppy fashion gets a stylish makeover in designer Vincent Flumiani’s new line, Caulfield Preparatory. For his autumn ’09 collection, Flumiani takes inspiration for his clothing designs from J. D. Salinger’s classic coming-of-age best-seller ‘The Catcher in the Rye’, and is also based on his own experiences, telling a story about a young man who takes off on a cross-country road trip after leaving college. Flumiani’s first collection is sure to strike a winning chord with fashion-forward individuals everywhere, his array of courdroy suits, woollen blazers, and buttoned-up shirts are available at select retailers, including Odin and OAK NYC.
