When designers and pattern cutters from Turnbull & Asser branched out not too long ago to develop their own collection implementing the knowledge they’ve acquired at the world renowned clothier, it was expected to be good. The outcome was Bespoken and good was an understatement. The English label does an amazing job with its Fall/Winter 09 collection, especially with its outerwear and blazers. Also included in the collection are knitwear, shirts and trousers all staying true to old England bespoke tailoring. Said best in their mission statement, “Bespoken invites those into its circle who are passionate about the exclusivity & authenticity of fine fabrics and have a discerning eye for detail.” Keeping that in mind, have you noticed the button hole on the left lapel on all of Bespoken’s blazers stitched in red thread? Just checking your discerning eye for detail.
Bespoken is available only at the Harrods in Knightsbridge, London and selected Bloomingdale’s in New York, San Francisco, and Chicago.
