Model Rutger Derksen dons the khakis and glasses in an editorial for Japanese magazine POPEYE, in order to channel his ‘innermost nerd’ and incorporate it in his fashion choices. Captured by photographer Junji Hata and styled by Tomoki Sukezane, Derksen’s geek chic is a welcome look, sporting several outfits in toned-down colour palettes, a particular highlight being the all-white shirts-and-shorts combination with black straps and a matching black-and-white polka dot tie to perfect the look.
