After becoming an internet sensation for her infamous bathtub scene in last year’s season finale of Weeds, Mary-Louise Parker can now be seen sporting an apron and not much else in the upcoming issue of Esquire.
“Nudity is the best costume because no one is looking at you as a person, all they see is your body,” the 44-year old actress told the men’s mag.
Last year, Parker grumbled in a More magazine interview that she was “goaded” into going topless by the director of Showtime’s comedy/drama. Serendipitously, she agreed to read aloud “Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland” for the world wide web in her nothing but her lingerie as a part of Esquire’s new weekly Disquieting Bedtime Stories series that premiered this month. The August issue of Esquire hits shelves July 14th and fifth season of Weeds can be seen on Monday nights.
