Why Neal Saiki decided to make the jump from NASA engineer to electric motorcycle designer, we may never know. What we do know is that we like his style. His award winning ideas have culminated into the Zero MX, which will undoubtedly become a formidable foe on the motocross circuit. Coming on the heels of the popular Zero X comes the revamped MX, with beefier forks, shocks, wheels, and tires, all of which should enable the rider to soar to new heights on those tabletops. On the back end, a customizable rear shock makes for fine-tuned damping and rounds out the package. What’s best about the Zero MX is that it’s actually available to purchase, at a rather reasonable $8,250.
