
Steve McQueen was the man. But well before his days as Lieutenant Frank Bullitt, McQueen spent a few years at The Boys Republic in Chino, California. A self-desribed “treament community for troubled youngsters,” the Republic is credited for setting McQueen on the right path and has since begun hosting a car show in his honor. This year’s show, set against an eerily beautiful backdrop, featured some of Steve’s favorite vehicles, including the Porsche 356 and Triumph Bonneville, among many other vintage Porsches and even some American muscle. Like McQueen himself, the show is just classic cool.
