American manufacturer Motoczysz has finally put the finishing touches on their electric superbike, just in time to compete in the zero-emission eGrandPrix motorcycle race at the Isle of Man. Powered by a trio of motors and 10 battery modules, this machine will be the first from Michael Czysz’s upstart company to successfully compete in an FIM sanctioned event. After the E1pc’s predecessor, the c1, failed to meet requirements to compete in MotoGP, the R&D team at Motoczysz managed to create the bike you see today in about five months’ time. This two-wheeled beast hosts a bevy of high-tech features, including a twin clutch setup and patent-pending front suspension. Our favorite feature? Undoubtedly the iPhone mount, which allows the device to serve as the primary instrument panel. Root for rider Mark Miller and the Motoczysz team on June 12th to see how their design stacks up to the competition.
