Spanish label Loewe, a staple since it debuted in 1846, leaked an early look at their Pre-Fall 2009 collection. Loewe places a strong emphasis on luxury with this line, complete with fur collars and leather accessories. There are plenty of outerwear options, including a classic belted wool trench coat. The range largely stays in the realm of black and deep blue, although some brighter accents of red and violet do pop up in certain pieces. Along with some of the more outlandish pieces, like a pair of patchwork leather pants, these bursts of color help to break up the serious undertones of the sleek, minimalist design and introduce some lightheartedness to the collection.
