Simplicity is a quality that seems to go by unnoticed in recent times, however Chauncey have the perfect blend of minimalism in their garments. The Brussels-based menswear label, founded in 2008, places a heavy emphasis on quality knitwear, evident in both of their latest spring/summer and autumn/winter collections. Chauncey’s founder, Nathalie Bouhana, who has designed knitwear for menswear labels such as Dunhill and Purdey, designs ready-to-wear knits that are fit to grace any male wardrobe. Highlights of both collections (with the autumn/winter lineup slated for 2009/10) include waistcoats, a white cardigan, and grey and black jackets, created out of “some mighty good yarn” according to their website.
